Recientemente Lamborghini presentó en el Salón de Ginebra el Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, una nueva versión del modelo. Ahora lanzó una edición limitada del Murciélago denominada LP 650-4 Roadster del cual se realizarán 50 unidades que se diferencian de la variante convencional por ligeras modificaciones estéticas y un motor más potente.
Comparte múltiples elementos con el LP640-4, uno de ellos el motor 6.5 V12, pero potenciado hasta los 650 CV, lo que representa un incrementó de 10 CV. Sin embrago, este incremento no mejoró sus prestaciones y mantiene una velocidad máxima de 330 km/h y una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h en 3,4 segundos.
Su carrocería se ofrecerá únicamente con una combinación de colores. La mayor parte será gris con detalles naranja en los paragolpes, en los laterales en el grupo óptico, pinzas de freno y en las letras “LP 650-4” en los costados.
Dispone de un deflector aerodinámico en la parte más alta del parabrisas, llantas negras de 18 pulgadas con cinco rayos, neumáticos Pirelli P Zero Corsa de 245/35 adelante y 335/30 atrás, y el motor está ubicado detrás de los asientos y cuenta con una tapa transparente.
Dentro del habitáculo los tapizados son de cuero oscuro. En las costuras del volante y de las butacas, en los paneles, bordes de las alfombras, levas para realizar el pasaje de marchas y algunos sectores de la consola hay más detalles en color naranja.
