Yves Rossy, un piloto suizo de 48 años, ha inventado y probado por si mismo las primeras alas propulsadas por jets acopladas a la espalda del mundo.
Aunque la propulsión humana mediante jets se remonta a la Segunda Guerra Mundial, este es el primer prototipo que además cuenta con alas.
Tras sufrir un accidente en la primavera de 2.007, Rossy ha diseñado su segundo prototipo más maniobrable, seguro y con mayor aerodinamismo y autonomía.
